Latest Gartner CPM Magic Quadrant |

recently released an updated version of
their Magic Quadrant for CPM (BPM). For
the first time since its' inception some
vendors made it to the leadership quadrant.
Cognos and Hyperion have publicly announced
that they were the ones designated as CPM
leaders by Gartner. To see how the other

that Streamline Budgeting and Planning |

As frustrations with planning, budgeting,
and forecasting processes mount, the APQC
set out to determine whether leading practices
can shorten these cycles. So the APQC, an
independent nonprofit dedicated to corporate
performance benchmarking, conducted a survey
with the help of IBM and Business Finance
to find out whether today's most popular
business performance management (BPM) "best
practices" are yielding results.

Golden Gate Capital will acquire Geac Computer
Corporation Limited in a transaction valued
at approximately US$ 1.0 billion. Geac's
ERP products will be merged into Infor,
another Golden Gate company. The BPM business
will remain largely intact and become part
of a new company to be named prior to the
transaction closing.
