  • Early Survey Results Provide Some Surprises
    .

Quite a few of you have already participated in this year's BPM Pulse survey - the Keys to Success. While some results could be expected (such as Budgeting leading the pack of BPM processes to be addressed), other results were pleasant surprises (such as the #2 area right behind Budgeting). In addition, we were a little taken aback by some of the less than stellar satisfaction ratings for some brand name vendors, and fairly high ratings for some of the smaller players. There is only one way to see the complete summary results of the survey - spend a few minutes and take the survey yourself. All survey respondents will receive the summary results and a free gift. Two lucky participants will also receive a $500 gift cheque.

    Nonfinancial Measurements Fall Short
    .

While most organizations feel they do a good to excellent job measuring and tracking key financial indicators, far fewer can say the same about critical nonfinancial measures. BPM Partners and other consulting firms have emphasized the importance of nonfinancial measures as indicators of future performance, while financial measures tend to be more of a historical record of the past. Follow the link for more highlights from this Deloitte/Economist survey.
