Oracle
(re)Enters BPM Market |

Oracle is a dominant player in many
areas, but performance management has not
been one of them. That is about to change
as they make a major push into the CPM/BPM
space. They have a broad product suite that
includes both tools and applications such
as Oracle Balanced Scorecard and Enterprise
Planning and Budgeting. They view Hyperion
and Cognos as their primary competition.
A key differentiator is that they are targeting
specific verticals with product extensions
in addition to marketing messages. First
area of focus: financial services. To see
