has cut a path in business as a more rigorous
way to measure performance by quantifying
what had been considered intangible assets,
such as human capital, information, and
culture. Most recently, Kaplan and Norton
have built on the original, four-perspective
model of the Balanced Scorecard, and they
link it with the time-based dynamics of
strategy.

Standards Group Launched |

The BPM Standards Group was formed to help
accelerate the successful adoption of BPM
throughout the enterprise. The group plans
to accomplish this by delivering definitions,
a framework, and roadmaps that will bring
clarity and best practices to the growing
community of users, vendors, and consultants.
The founding members of the group are: Applix,
BPM Partners, Hyperion, IBM, IDC, META Group,
SAP, and The Data Warehousing Institute.
