Hyperion has just announced the release
of Essbase 7.0 and Performance Suite 8.2,
the first combined release of Hyperion and
Brio products. These two releases provide
major BPM benefits, including:
- Predictive analytics ,
based on a sophisticated data mining framework
- Personalized dashboards with
drag and drop simplicity
- Built-in alerting capability
For developers:
- Data and metadata security
- Support for complete Linux deployment
- Support for MDX, XMLA, and Unicode
While Planning and HFM can take advantage
of the platform enhancements, it is not
currently built-in to these application
products.
