| Industry News: Cognos, Applix Reporting Tools,
Lawson/Closedloop Merger |

| September was another exciting month in the world of
BPM. Cognos released ReportNet, which they call 'a
game-changing event for BI'. This powerful tool allows users
to create ad-hoc and production reports, all from the same
interface. Applix released TM1 Web, which lets users
publish live, interactive Excel worksheets to a web page.
Lawson has just announced the acquisition of
Closedloop Solutions to bolster their budgeting and
